Gugulethu Mbatha (better known by the name Gugu-Mbatha Raw) is a British actress and film star that became popular after she appeared in the BBC show "Doctor Who", a British Sci-Fi TV series. Gugu was famous due to her performance as Tish Jones. Tish Jones was the character's sister. Gugu had a bright and vivacious personality, which was loved by the public. Gugu would be able to have a very successful career as an actor if she didn't quit! Gugu also appeared in various British stage and television productions. She is critically acclaimed for her outstanding performance in "Belle" (2013) the British period drama and Beyond the Lights (2014) which is a romantic drama. Alongside her role in American movies like Tom Hankscomedy "Larry Crowne" and 'Larry Crowne', she has also appeared on TV shows including "Undercover" and Touch'. Gugu Mbatha-Raw was the main character in the play 'Nell Gwynn' the play written by Jessica Swale, as a person who played an actress as well as the mistress to King Charles II of England and Scotland. Gugu received plenty of praise from critics who loved her performance and was recognized for her prestigious "Evening Standard Theatre Award" for the Best Actress. Gugu also received the Member of the Order of the British Empire award (MBE) from Queen Elizabeth II, for her exceptional performance in the production.
Chelsea Joy Handler born 25th February 1975 Livingston New Jersey. Her family consisted of six people including Chelsea Joy Handler as the youngest. Handler was raised in a family with six kids. Her mother worked at home, and her father sold used cars. Her mother was a German immigrant who came to America in the year 1958. United States in 1958. The cancer of the breast was first discovered in the year 1989. Her death came a decade after battling cancer. Handler's father was Jewish as was her mother, and she raised within Reform Judaism. Handler was blessed with a joyful, healthy childhood living in a safe neighborhood. When she was 19, she moved into Los Angeles, California to explore a career in acting. To support her family, Handler began to work as an actress. Handler aged 21 was able to concentrate on stand-up comedy full time when she discovered her story telling skills. At the beginning of her career Handler began her stand-up career as a member of the Oxygen network's all-female cast of a hidden camera/practical joke reality show on TV called Girls Behaving Badly. This reality TV show ran from 2002-2005. Handler began appearing on different shows such like Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler also began working as a corresponded for The Tonight Show. Handler achieved her first big break in 2006 by hosting her E! show. known as The Chelsea Handler show. The Chelsea Handler Show lasted two years. Handler then followed up with doing a show on Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour and which was a tour in the United States. Her stand-up performances have been aired on VH1, Comedy Central's Premium Blend as well as HBO. In 2010 it was revealed that she was going to be hosting for the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. The only woman ever to host the VMAs after Roseanne Bar.
