The young lady desperately required life-saving medical intervention and was placed on ECMO life-support at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. She developed multiple organ failures and kidneys that were not able to recover. The patient was required to change her life around hemodialysis, as well as dialysate for the peritoneal area. For the eighteen days she was in the Hospital, the life of her was changed forever. Angelica was on dialysis for more than a decade and half years before receiving her kidney transplant. The mother of Angelica was the organ donor. Angelica Hale underwent a successful kidney transplant with her mother on the 13th of September 2013. The operation was carried out in Emory University Hospital, and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale has been pursuing her goals of becoming a star ever since.
